Description

An efficient rainwater filter is essential when rainwater is used for toilets, washing machines, garden irrigation and cleaning purposes. The patented filter is installed in line with the inlet and overflow, in the manhole above the rainwater tank. Rainwater enters via the inlet. Sludge, which is usually the main cause of clogging in rainwater filters, is first collected in the settling tray located at the front of the filter surface. Subsequently, the rainwater flows through the mesh of the filter into the tank. Debris retained on the large filter surface area is flushed away during heavy rainfall, when the rainwater tank overflows, or when the filter element is cleaned manually. Note: the manhole and openings are not pre-drilled, and sealing rings are not included.
