An Individual Wastewater Treatment System, abbreviated as IWT, is a system designed to treat domestic wastewater from a single household. The Veco Clear consists of three plastic tank compartments: a primary settling tank, an aeration tank and a secondary settling tank. If you do not have the possibility to discharge wastewater via the public sewer system, you are legally required to treat your wastewater yourself prior to discharge. This means that the complete flow of black and grey water — originating from toilets, kitchen and bathroom — must pass through the treatment unit before it may be discharged into a stream, ditch or irrigation system. The regular addition of the product GEDAZYME via the toilet ensures the continuous and efficient operation of the Veco Clear system.
