This patented XL filter is installed in line with the inlet and overflow, at the level of the manhole in the rainwater tank. Rainwater enters via the inlet and passes through the stainless steel mesh of the filter into the tank. Debris retained in the filter is flushed away when the rainwater tank overflows. The XL filter is manufactured from polypropylene and stainless steel and therefore requires minimal maintenance. The filter can be easily dismantled by lifting the filter section and rinsing it with (warm) water.
